I have been blogging for around a year now. Yet, I have barely any readers :( Why then do I still blog and how do I still keep up the tempo? Frankly, it is not easy. Blogging is very similar to writing a book. While it might be very difficult to find a publisher for you first book, with a blog you get instant publishing. However, in a blog you do not get the targeted publicity that is largely taken care of by your publisher. Moreover, you not only have to write the blog, you have to edit and publicize it as well. All this is real hard.

It is specially hard if you have no specific goal in mind – that is what you would like to blog about and for whom. Apart from the goal, you need a certain amount of resolve and determination to post at regular intervals. This you can do only if you really know what to blog about. Don’t worry about whether anyone is reading your blog or not. Readers will eventually come if you post stuff others want to know and learn about. Have patience and wish you a whole lot of luck.
